Ritchie Daly collects Intel Foundation Grant
Mullingar Shamrocks secretary Ritchie Daly recently received a cheque from Intel Production Manager Alan Jacob for $3350 for volunteer hours completed in 2017 by himself and Gerry Briody as part of the Intel Involved Matching Grant Volunteer Program. The Intel Foundation awards cash grants to qualified schools and community organizations based on volunteer hours reported by Intel employees. As we all know, Ritchie in his role as secretary of the club, devotes countless volunteer hours to ensuring that the administration of Mullingar Shamrocks runs smoothly whilst Gerry Briody is a valuable coach at our Saturday morning Under-Age coaching sessions and has been for a number of years where he has made a huge contribution to the club's wellbeing . Well done lads and thanks to Intel for their initiative in establishing the Intel Foundation grants scheme.
