As we approach the new season I would like to wish all the teams & managers the very best of luck.
Over the last 2 years, we have had huge amounts of success on the pitch and we are hoping for another great year ahead.
The work that has been put in over the past few years by coaches, players, club members and committee members is outstanding and it is really starting to show in the club and something as a club we can be very proud of.
We are not where we want to be just yet but we are certainly on the right track in terms of progression. We have much more to do and I can't wait to see what the coming year has in store as we keep striving to be the best we can be.
Over the course of the last month we have rolled out our new football structure with all coaches. This will keep us improving month on month while continuing our coach education also to improve ourselves as coaches and in turn improve the football experience for the players of Corduff FC.
Something we found worked very well last year was the introduction of the 3rd session for teams with futsal been introduced for SSG teams and the gym been used by the 9 & 11 a side teams. I would ask that there is a big push on this as the benefits of these extra sessions the players will bear the fruits of in the years to come.
We look forward to seeing all the new teams we have created over the summer in action too!
We are delighted we can cater for so many kids and that there is such a demand to join the club - that is a testament to the work done by our coaches at Corduff F.C.
We cant wait to see not one but two girls teams compete in the DDSL which is a first for Corduff and something we wanted to do for quite a while now - we can't wait to see where the journey into girl's game will take us!
The very best of luck to everyone and I look forward to seeing everyone on the sidelines when the games start. Remember - RESPECT. Show it and you will receive it.
