Our annual Golf Classic took place on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th of September. Weather was not good on Friday and numbers were down on previous years but still over 20 teams took part.
The winning team for 1st prize of a 4ball in Mount Juliette Estate worth over €500 and the Fr.Conor McNamara Memorial Cup with 119pts were
Kieron Kennedy, Tony Duggan, John Duffy and Patsy Kett. (All East Clare Members) Congratulations to the Clooney men.
In 2nd place were locals Cathal Boyce, Ray Boyce, Eoin O'Brien and John O'Dwyer with 116pts.
and in 3rd Noel Nash, Enda Donnellan, Mick Lambe and Caimin Treacy with 115 points.

O'Callaghan's Mills GAA club would sincerely like to thank all those who participated, to those local business who sponsored teams or holes over the 2 days, and those who helped organize the event.
We would also like to thank East Clare Golf Club for their hospitality and use of the course which was in excellent condition despite the weather.
