Following on from the recent WDFL delegates meeting we would like to provide more information in regards the Oscar Traynor team for the coming games.
The WDFL will be holding an open trial training session on Wednesday 4th October in the home of St Peters FC, Fassaroe Community Centre, Bray, Co Wicklow at 7.30pm. They will look to hold 2 further training sessions before their first match which will be against the AUL on 25th October @ 8pm kick off in the AUL grounds. Locations and dates of these training sessions will be announced next week.
They will have 2 further matches against the LSL and the Defence Force which will be held at home, with dates and locations to be confirmed.
If there's any players who'd like to come down to try out for the Wicklow Squad please inform our WDFL club secretary Paul Delaney with the player's name & position so Paul can send the details to the league.
Please note the league are not limiting this to premier players, its across all 3 divisions. The league would love a strong representation for this so all support from clubs would be greatly appreciated.
