The availability of referees is one of the most important factors in getting games played for our boys, girls and seniors.

If you are 16 and over, refereeing is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to your community, learn a new skill, and even earn a few quid!

The FAI are now putting on new courses. These are short on-line course (4 hours) or (6 hours). The fee will be reimbursed to all persons who complete the courses and actively start to ref!

- Thursday 2nd November 2023 from 11am to 3pm (4 Hrs) in the conference room in the FAI H/O Abbotstown. This will suit many people including 16+ year olds. This 4-hour course will allow these potential Referees to ref u11’s games . Once they have built up games & experience, they can take part in a 2 hr Zoom’ Course in order to progress to the u12 upwards fixtures. Cost for this course is ‘Free’. Note: This week is the mid-term school break.

- Saturday 4th November 2023 from 10am to 4pm in the conference room in the FAI H/O Abbotstown. This 6-hour course will allow potential Referees to officiate at games from 12 upwards. There is an FAI Fee of Euro 50 but this will be refunded to those Referees who Ref in the DDSL & have officiated at a number of DDSL games.
