Calasanctius Junior footballers go marching on to the Connacht school B final with a win over St. Attractas CS , Tubbercurry last night in Bekan.

The score line of Calasanctius 2-11, St Attractius 0-09, does not really tell the tale of this hard fought victory for Calasanctius .

Goals win games and 2 well worked moves from Calasanctius in the first half and finished by Niall de Paor and Mathew Allen was the difference in the end.

At the other end of the pitch a fine save from Calasanctius goal keeper Brian Carroll and an off the line clearance from Ryan Cleary kept Calasanctius ahead.

Leading by 6 points at half time allowed Calasanctius set up a strong defence and pick off some well worked scores from Micheal Leahy and Jonah O'Halloran.

Calasanctius await the winners of Wednesdays other semi final between Presentation Headford and St. Muredach’s.

Final fixed for Monday 11th December.

Best of luck boys
