Our senior footballers are back in action for the first time this Saturday since last year’s All-Ireland Final win over Kerry, as they enter the Dioralyte O’Byrne Cup at the Quarter-Final stage against Offaly at Gracefield (1.30pm).
The competition allows Leinster counties to build up some momentum to take into the league season, which starts at the end of this month.
It also gives management the chance to take a look at their options, ahead of the Allianz Football League season - and in particular our very own Rory Dwyer!!!

Dessie Farrell’s men will take on Offaly in the quarter-finals, after the Faithful County beat Laois on Wednesday night in their Round 1 tie in Stradbally.
A Dylan Hyland goal was key in their 1-11 to 0-12 win midweek and Dublin will be aware of the threat that Hyland possesses after he was instrumental in Offaly’s win over Dublin in last year’s O’Byrne Cup, as he led the way on the scoring front with 0-05 to his name.
Offaly have won the competition six times, with their last O’Byrne Cup title coming in 1998.
