Clare open their Hurling season this Wednesday night with the visit of all Ireland Champions Limerick to Clarecastle (Astro) for the first round of the Munster Hurling League. The game is already sold out.

Brian Lohan has a new look management team for 2024. Ken Ralph (Clarecastle) remains in situ while Brendan Bugler of Whitegate and Clooney-Quin manager Tommy Corbett will join as selectors while Lukasz Kirszenstein, who oversaw strength and conditioning for All-Ireland SHC wins in 2016 (Tipperary) and 2017 (Galway), also joins the set-up.

15 new players are added to the panel in preparation for the league and these include:
