Mullingar Shamrocks Go Greener

Appropriately, for a member of the GAA’s Green Club initiative and conscious of its environmental responsibility, Mullingar Shamrocks installed 28 400-Watt solar panels on the roof of the clubhouse recently.

This solar system has the potential to generate 11kw of clean energy to help meet our daily electrical needs.

In addition, we have installed battery storage to allow this energy to be stored and used later for floodlights etc.

In 2024 we are hoping as part of the Shared Island Sports Club EV charging scheme to install car chargers at our facility in Springfield.

Where Mullingar Shamrocks lead others follow.
