Our U11 / U10 hurling pre-season competition got off to a flying start yesterday. The fun pre-season league is now in it's 5th year and sees our U11 / U10 hurling players allocated to a county team and they play against each other over February. This year is extra special as it's the first time playing on our own All-Weather pitch !
The cup was very kindly donated by our own hurling superstar Noel Burke who will present the trophy to the winning team in the final on February 25th.
Yesterday saw Kilkenny play Limerick - with Limerick getting the win.
And in our second game, Wexford played the Lillywhites, with the Yellow Bellies dancing at the crossroads with the win.
There was great fun and super skills on display from this extremely talented group of players and we're looking forward to seeing more over the next few weeks.
This week for round 2 its "Friday Night Lights "- with Wexford v Kilkenny , Limerick v Kildare at 6.30 and 7.30pm. All support is welcome
