Scheme Overview
The proposed scheme covers an area between the junction of Seamus Ennis Road/North Road (to the west) and the junction of Seamus Ennis Road / Clune Road / Glasanaon Road (to the east). It also includes Jamestown Road between the junction with Main Street (to the south) and the junction with Seamus Ennis Road (to the north).
The Finglas Village Improvement Scheme will:
- Provide high quality, safe and accessible protected cycling and walking facilities for all;
- Provide improved public transport facilities, including new bus shelters; and
- Improve the pedestrian experience through public realm initiatives (i.e., planting/trees, seating and reduced clutter).
