The Ladies Gaelic Football Association have launched a new regional series of Grab Your Whistle Club Youth courses to assist counties to increase the capacity of referees officiating competitive juvenile games from Under 12 to Under 16 within their counties.

Counties sometimes struggle to have enough referees to meet demand and these courses offer the opportunity for referees to take the next step on their officiating pathway.

The course is designed to recruit and train referees aged 17+ and can also act as a progression for any referees that completed the Go Games Referee course. On completion of the course the referee will be qualified to referee competitive club youth football at juvenile level from Under 12 to Under 16. Participants will then be able to progress to the GYW Club Adult Course.

I have attached the GYW Youth Poster which has all the details and locations. The link to book courses ishttps://ladiesgaelic.ie/learn/grab-your-whistle-club-youth-courses/
