Our U12C team had a brilliant win today up the Rocky Road v Glencormac running out 4 - 0 winners, in our new jerseys sponsored by O'Dwyers Pharmacy. Rovers made a great start to the game with the Glencormac keeper making 3 or 4 good saves, before finally getting the goal Rovers deserved after some brilliant play by Tomas Cunha setting up Brook Montgomery-Quinn to put the ball in the net. In the second half Rovers came out flying again, playing some of our best football yet and it wasn't long until Aaron Cunha bagged Rovers second after a great cross by Bella Connolly. Rovers 3rd and 4th goals followed shortly after with Greg Rourke setting up Billy Nolan for a great strike from distance, and Aaron Cunha deservedly getting another after a lovely mazy run before a neat finish into the bottom corner. A fantastic team performance, well done to the whole squad for playing some lovely football and keeping their second clean sheet in a row.
