Six of our young volunteers received their Sports Inspire Awards for volunteering within the club at a ceremony in Belfast last night. Ana Bergin, Calvin Mooney, Grace Gallagher and Kacie O’Donoghue received their award for 50 hours and James McBennett and Michael Walker received the top award for 200 hours.

The Sports Inspire Award is a joint initiative between Ulster GAA, Ulster Rugby and the Irish FA to recognise young people volunteering in sport. The young volunteers work towards Sports Inspire Award on achieving 50, 100 and 200 hours volunteering.

Also achieving awards this year are Alanna O’Neill, Keane McArdle & Micheal McCreesh (100 hours) and Cormac Martin, Louis Winters, Niamh Murphy, Sadhbh McKeever and Scott Harris (50 hours).

Congratulations to all our volunteers and well done on all the hard work to achieve these highly prestigious awards. All at Dromintee GAC are proud of your efforts.
