The Late Collette Geraghty …
Mullingar Shamrocks members and executive extend their deepest sympathy to Mary-Jo and Bunty Geraghty on the death of their mother Collette. Collette is predeceased by her husband Mick and son Martin. Sympathy is also extended to Collette’s brothers Frank and Pat and her sisters Betty, Mary, Maggie and Helen, her granddaughter Grace, daughter-in-law Majella and to members of Collette’s extended family and friends.
Collette reposes in Shaw’s Funeral Home on Sunday, 7 April from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm concluding with prayers at 6.00 pm. Collette’s funeral Mass takes place on Monday 8 April in the Cathedral of Christ the King at 11.00 am followed by burial afterwards in Milltown Cemetery.
Mary-Jo Geraghty has represented Mullingar Shamrocks over the years in Scór and Scór na nÓg and has won numerous Westmeath and Leinster titles representing the club in Figure Dancing and contested four All-Ireland Scór finals.
Collette’s nephew Andrew is actively involved in Mullingar Shamrocks coaching at underage level with Sheá and Aoife active footballers at under-age level.
