Portarlington 1-15 Kilcavan/The Rock 4-06
Our u13s hosted Kilcavan/The Rock on Friday evening in the second round of the football league. This was an excellent game of football with some great scores taken. Kilcavan/The Rock were leading 2.04 to 1.04 at the break. Portarlington had the breeze in the second half and really took full advantage creating lovely scores and kicking nice points. With seven minutes remaining Portarlington took a five point lead, but Kilcavan- The Rock got two quick goals to go a point up. However, Portarlington worked the ball well up the field to get the point which earned them a hard fought draw on a score of 1-15 to 4-06.
