Portarlington 5-25
Ballyroan Abbey 4-03

Portarlington u13 footballers put in an excellent performance against Ballyroan Abbey on a lovely evening in McCann Park. Port played lovely quick football and ran into space making it tough for the opposition to deal with, during the match. Port scored 3-13 in the first half, going in at half time with a nice lead.
Portarlington footballers started the second half in the driving seat and again were quick off the blocks, winning the majority of the ball and taking well-earned scores. Although Ballyroan Abbey tried to fight hard to get through Ports defence, our lads were very physical in winning turnovers, working it out majestically to our midfield and forwards.
Overall this was an excellent team performance from the lads and everyone of them played a huge part in their victory. Portarlington winning 5-25 to 4-03.
