The "Big Beard Shave" fundraiser organised by James Maher and friends in aid of Cois Nore (Cancer Support Centre) was held in the Dicksboro GAA & Camogie Club's clubhouse in Palmerstown on Friday night. Thanks to all those who 'donated' their beards in aid of such a good cause. Thanks also to Nigel of 'Hair by Nigel' who performed the 'shearing' on the night. A cheque for €5,000 was presented on the night to Bill Cuddihy, Chairman Cois Nore.
