Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative – Now Open for Clane GAA members born 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Clane GAA is excited to offer our members born 2007 and 2008 the incredible opportunity to participate in the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative (DEYL). This programme will help develop vital leadership skills, make a positive impact in our community, and challenge you to grow both personally and as a leader, on and off the pitch.

What’s Involved?

• 15 facilitated workshops, each lasting 2 hours (6th Jan- 14 April inclusive)
Sessions will mostly occur in Clane GAA on Mondays from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. See Scheduled Timetable
• Self-reflection and learning activities
• Community action project to develop your leadership skills in real-world settings
Programme Commitment:

This programme requires a commitment to attending all sessions and engaging in the activities to get the most out of the experience. It is a fantastic opportunity, but it will require dedication.
Facilitators: The programme will be led by Mick Manning and Tracy O'Dea, both Foróige-trained facilitators.

Modules 1 & 2: There is a nominal cost €50 for course materials .

Module 3 (*OPTIONAL*) This optional module is awarded by University College Galway (NUI Galway), and there is a €300 fee for the module, certification by the university and for participation in the graduation ceremony. This module earns you a FETAC Level 6 qualification in Youth Leadership.

Limited Spaces: This programme is exclusive to Clane GAA members. With limited spaces available, early registration is advised!
