It is with great sorrow that we announce the sad passing of John”Rowley” Watters.
John comes from a family steeped in the history of Geraldines GFC. He enhanced that tradition with a lifetime of support and encouragement. He was always there to help or support and none more so than when his old mate  and work colleague Paul Reneghan  was involved. His involvement in the championship run of 1999 typified John. Anything to do with the team took precedent over everything else, his dedication was second to none. His performance in winning lipsync will live long in the memory as will his open door for everyone passing. The Geraldines will be a lesser place without him. God bless Rowley
