Clarinbridge GAA Club were deeply saddened to hear the passing of John Cooney. We offer our deepest sympathy to his fiancee Emmaleen, his parents and extended family. 
John worked as a barber in the village and was a popular and well liked guy. Many players, coaches and parents popped in to get their hair cut and John kept up to date with all Clarinbridge and Galway GAA activities. He will be sadly missed.
