Congratulations to Diarmuid Leahy who helped the Garda College to their win in this year's Ryan cup final on Saturday. Also busy winning another Fitzgibbon Cup medal on Saturday was Gearóid O'Connor. Gearóid, who scored 10 points on the day, 4 from play & 6 from frees, was also named man of the match on the day. This was Gearóid's fourth time playing in a Fitzgibbon Cup final and his third time winning the title with UL-an astounding record!
Ladies Football: A fantastic night was had by all that attended our Dinner Dance. The John Cantwell Memorial Award was presented by Mary Gorman to The Adult Player of the year 2024 - Niamh Butler. The Chloe Gray Perpetual Trophy was presented by Chloe's mam Pamela Russell to the Young Player of the year 2024 -Ciara Hayden. Congratulations to both Niamh & Ciara, well deserved.
