Sallins GAA are committing to support the Plunkett family with their Donate for Dáire drive to encourage people to register for Platelet Donation in honour of their wonderful son Dáire who was a member of our club and sadly passed away from leukaemia in May 2024.
During Dáire's treatment he received 30 platelet transfusions and we really encourage everyone to check out the Irish Blood Transfusion Service's website for eligibility criteria and consider becoming a donor.
