The Galway Senior Footballers will begin their Connacht Championship campaign in New York this Sunday, April 6th, with several thousand Galwegians expected to descend on Gaelic Park in the Bronx.

The evening before will see the 'Dance Like A Star Stateside' fundraiser take place in the Hammerstein Ballroom. Twenty dancers will take to the floor on the night and Patrick Carr will be representing Oranmore Maree and Ballindereen GAA Clubs.

The event is a fundraiser for Galway GAA while the winning dancers will share a significant prize-pot for their clubs. Patrick is currently fundraising ahead of the event and all donations would be greatly appreciated.

Patrick has very kindly organised for two lucky Oranmore Maree One Club members to win signed Galway hurling and football jerseys. Entries (in the form of donations) cost €10 and you must label your donation with your full name and 'OMGAA' to be included in the jersey draws. Multiple entries are permitted.

The deadline to enter the draw is 9pm this Wednesday, April 2nd.

You can enter/donate to Patrick's fundraiser here: https://www.events54.com/event/galwaygaa/act/patrick-carr-caroline-downey

We wish Patrick the best of luck with the event!
