There’s a buzz in the Syls camp today as one of our own, Alan Spicer, is set to make his full senior debut for Leinster Rugby – live on TV in the next hour!
Alan has been named on the bench for Leinster’s clash with the Sharks in Durban, and if called upon, the towering second row (all 6’10” of him!) will earn his first senior cap. It’s a massive moment for the former Belvedere College man who also lined out for UCD and Ireland U20s.
He’s battled through injury setbacks and worked his socks off – and now he’s just one whistle away from the big stage. Keep your eyes peeled on RTÉ and let’s show Alan the support he deserves.
