WE ARE GOING TO THE DOGS
Our Annual Fundraiser ‘A Night at the Dogs’ takes place on Saturday April 26th. We are asking all club members to support us by buying a family ticket for €20. There are links on our social media accounts and Clubzap or ask any of our coaches for a ticket. Apart from being vital to the running of our club it is always a great social night for young and old!

WELLKIDs
Our Well Kids had a visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday! Some great photos on our social media. We will break for a couple of weeks and return on May 10th in our De La Salle Gracedieu grounds as we move outdoors for the summer! Happy Easter everyone.

CAMOGIE
Huge well done to our young u12 White squad who played their first ever u12 match at home in Cleaboy against Abbeyside B during the week. The girls battled hard and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing on a big pitch with a referee and real goals. Keep up the excellent work girls. Thank you to Abbeyside for a great game and best wishes with the rest of the league.
Thank you, John O’Neill, for once again capturing fabulous memories for the girls, posted on our social media.
Well done to our u12 Red squad who started their u12A league against St Annes in Dunhill during the week. Great display of Camogie by both teams, keep up the excellent work girls and thank you to all the supporters for travelling.

There are some very happy faces captured by John O'Neill on our social media from a wonderful weekend of Camogie, where our U15A Feile Team won the Final beating Butlerstown 3-9 to 3-1. Thank you very much to Waterford camogie for organising a great Feile competition, to Tramore GAA for hosting our Feile A grouping, to the referees and umpires for their time, to Mount Sion, Tramore and Butlerstown for the fantastic games and excellent standard of Camogie. Huge thanks to our wonderful young ladies for their sheer determination and brilliant attitude throughout the day and to all our great supporters for cheering them on . Well done girls and what an opportunity to represent Waterford in the national Feile competition in June.

Thank you very much to WhiteBOX Interiors for their very generous sponsorship of training jersey, shorts, and socks for our u15 De La Salle Camogie Feile panel.
Well done to Zoe, Sarah Jayne & Ellie who lined out with the Waterford U17 Camogie in the All-Ireland Development Squad Series v Limerick.

Hard Luck to all the Waterford Minor girls but especially Emily, Shayla, & Sadie who went down to Antrim 2-13 to 1-04 in the Electric Ireland Minor Championship Minor A Shield.
Best wishes to our Senior Girls in the Senior Non-County League Rd 4, who are out v Tramore on Saturday 19/4/25 at 630pm in Tramore Gaa.

GAA
Well done to Alex Kusiak who is this week’s U6 Hurler of the week. Alex has been working really hard at improving and it hasn't gone unnoticed. All the group were treated to Easter Eggs after a great effort training! Well done and Happy Easter to all.
Well done to this week’s u7 hurler of the week Ollie Browne. Ollie is only playing with us a few weeks but in that period has shown great skill and determination. If he keeps improving at this pace, he will certainly be one to look out for. Well done Ollie and keep up the hard work.
A fantastic display by our two u9 teams who played in the All-County Blitz this weekend, with great developing skills being to the fore. Well done boys!
Hard Luck to Eddie Mulligan and Waterford Minor Footballers who went down to Tipperary with a slow start in the first half and clinical finishing in the second half letting them down. Best Wishes v Clare this week in the second round Munster Championship.
The U20 Waterford Hurlers hit the ground running however, going seven points up in the opening twenty minutes of their game. A ‘Man of the Match’ performance for Jack Twomey (0-04) with Daniel Lalor in the top three selection by Fraher Field Classics Report on the exciting U20 Hurlers fightback by Limerick for a draw in the Munster Championship, 0-16 to 1-13.  Well done to Conor Keane, Daniel Lalor & Jack Twomey who had great games and to Kevin Moran on the Management team.
Hard Luck to our Senior Hurlers who went down to Abbeyside 1-17 to 1-12 in the All-County League Div 1.
