Éire Óg Cúl Camp

Clare Senior Championships

Clare senior footballers get their 2025 championship campaign off to a start in the Munster semi-final v Tipperary on Saturday at 2pm in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg. Wishing all the best to Éire Óg’s Manus Doherty, Ronan Lanigan, Ikem Ugwueru, Mark McInerney, Gavin Murray and Colm Walsh O’Loghlen along with the team and management on the day.

Be sure to make plenty of noise from the sidelines for Alannah Lyne from Gaelscoil Mhichíl Chiosóg and Ailbhe O Neill from Scoil Chriost Rí playing at halftime at the football.

On Sunday, it’s the turn of the Clare senior hurlers who host Cork in the Park in round 1 of the Munster championship. The very best of luck to David Reidy and Shane O’Donnell, team and management.

On Sunday, we have AJ Treacy Leamy from Ennis National School playing in the halftime Primary Games, the very best of luck AJ, enjoy your day.

Ladies Football

LGFA Academy.
A busy week ahead as the U12 and U14 girls head out for their first matches of the season. U12 play the first of their Spring blitzes in Corofin on Easter Monday. The U14 Red team take on Clarecastle in Eire Og on Thursday, while the White team will travel to Miltown on the same evening.   

An understrength U16 team lost away to Wolfe Tones in the 3rd round of the championship. Despite missing a number of players, the girls gave it their best, but it wasn't to be their evening.

Camogie

Éire Óg brought 2 teams of 11 to a blitz last weekend Games were fairly evenly contested, it was a great improvement from their last blitz. Well done girls.   
U13 academy team play Kilkee in Éire Óg on Friday @ 4pm.
U12s also travel to Quin on Saturday morning for county board blitz.
Our U15s played very well at Feile last weekend with 2 extremely close games. Unfortunately, they did not proceed to finals but were strong in all areas of their games. Well done. 
No intermediate game this weekend, they are out on Friday 25th v Sixmilebridge in Éire Óg.   
Training for all underage continues on Saturday morning.

Academy

Well done to our U15 hurlers who have reached the Feile B final following wins over Tulla and Inagh Kilnamona. They now play Cratloe in the final on Saturday at 11am in Newmarket on Fergus.

There will be no regular Academy training on Bank Holiday Monday.

Club lotto jackpot now stands at €9625. Last Thursday’s numbers were: 9, 19, 20, 29. There was no Jackpot or Match 3 winner, 1 x Lucky Dips @ €100 went to: Deirdre Sheehan. The Promoters Prize of €25 went to Heaslip’s Shop. Well done to all. Paul will be in touch re prizes.
