Bingo at The Seans
Well, we hit another milestone on Monday night as our Bingo has now paid out in excess of €1.2million since we went on line. This was celebrated with a €1000 bonus for one lucky punter, and we delivered nearly €7000 in prizes on the night. The main jackpot moves on to €11100 with no winner this week, and all other jackpots are back in place. Senior Men Junior League
Our first home game of the league and Eire Óg were the visitors last Saturday evening. The local derby lived up to expectations as it was flat out action from the off. Na Mullai quickly ran into the lead and poured on the pressure in the first half. However, the lads tagged on some scores and had closed gap to four points at the interval. Once again it was a typical junior league tie with neither side letting go or giving up. Eire Óg continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over with the Seans chasing down the lead to one or two points. The final quarter approached and tired legs were starting to show, and the old rhetoric of goals win games would once again prove vital. Captain, Paraic McGuirk was first to rattle the net and push us in front. This was followed up by a soccer style effort from Adam O Driscoll. While we had left it late, it was enough for a 2-15 to 0-16 win and back to back wins. It’s another home game next, on Friday night, as we entertain Killeevan.

The Ladies had an early start in Truagh last Sunday. Once again this was a tough challenge but the team showed great character in their efforts for a result. However, the home side done just enough to secure the win by two points. Disappointment for sure but performances are as important.

U16 Boys
Well done to the Rock McDermotts squad who now top the division three table following their latest win over Latton on Thursday night. The team is gelling together very well and now look set for a semi final league place.

U14 Girls
The girls hosted Truagh on Monday night for round two of the league. In an opening half where Truagh dominated all areas of the pitch and taking a substantial lead, the break could not come quick enough to reorganise the troops. The second period had a revitalised Seans team as they ripped into the scoreboard and began to eat away at the lead. Their effort and determination was magically as they brought the deficit back to two points and edge of the seat stuff for the closing minutes. However, despite their best efforts, Truagh held on for the win. No victory on the night but a highly entertaining game for all.
