📝 Tuairisc Cluiche (Match Report)
On April 30th, our Adult Camogie team made the journey to Kildalkey for their second league match of the season. Under blazing sunshine and challenging heat, the girls dug deep and delivered a determined performance.
The match got off to a flying start with Ava Fraughan opening the scoring after a brilliant solo run and a tidy point over the bar. The momentum continued with standout scoring contributions from Maggie Randle (1-8, including 3 frees), Ella McAdam (1-1), Aoife Cox (1-0), and Ava Fraughan again (2-1).
Despite a setback when Kildalkey netted two quick goals, the Donaghmore Ashbourne side held their heads high and never stopped battling. Their resilience paid off as they finished strong with an impressive final score line of 5-10 to 2-7.
It was a fantastic team effort, showcasing the hard work and determination the girls have been putting in. Maith sibh a chailíní!
