Come the hour, come the men.

When the day is done and the dust has settled, the boys of BLR Rugby will get a moment of reflection to themselves and enjoy the feeling.

As Leinster U14s coordinator, David Crimmins described it, this was a five-way D4 derby.  This was a showdown of immense proportions.  The OK Corral.    Bective Rangers, Old Wesley RFC, Old Belvedere RFC, Wanderers FC and Lansdowne FC, all depleted by Schools Competition and in the spirit of rugby, putting ancient differences aside and making every effort to get the boys playing the sport.  Well done all.  Mission complete!.

Full time score at Donnybrook 12-14 to BLR.  Thanks to The Donnybrook BaaBaa's for a great game.

Thanks to everybody at Leinster Branch for making it happen, the match day officials, our coaches & parents but ultimately the boys for dogging it out for the win.

Thanks also to Blackrock College RFC for coming along to support us on the day.

Big congrats to Cameron Dowd on a fine and very mature Captain's Speech.  He hit all his markers. Well done.

Thanks to everybody at Bective Rangers and Lansdowne FC for making this project a success.  There's only one true winner, Rugby.
