Great win for our U14 Rice Cup hurlers today in Mitchelstown against Midleton. Having conceded an early goal to Midleton, the boys grew into the game. Leading by only two points at half time 1.10 to 1.8 it was all to play for. The boys gave a wonderful performance in the second half to score some wonderful points. Well done to all the Moycarkey members of the panel and to the management team of Eamonn Buckley, Patrick McCormack, Paul Downey, Martin Power, Theo Lloyd for all their hard work. Final score was 3.22 to 1.10. Captain Adam Rice accepted the famous cup for Rice Cup organising committee secretary Niall Cahill.
