Top Up Sunscreen Station Available by the Main Stage

The fine weather looks set to continue for Mini League Finals Day and beyond — and while we’re all hoping for sunshine and silverware, it’s important to stay safe in the sun, St Sylvester’s is reminding all players, parents, and supporters to be Sun Smart. Whether you're on the pitch, the sideline, or soaking up the fun around Broomfield, remember these key steps:

  • Seek shade when possible, especially during peak sunshine hours.
  • Slip on protective clothing — long sleeves, collared t-shirts, and close-weave fabrics are best.
  • Slap on a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face, ears, and neck.
  • Slop on broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA/UVB) — at least SPF 30+ for adults and 50+ for kids. Reapply regularly, especially after activity or sweating.
  • Slide on UV-protection sunglasses to guard your eyes.
A Top-Up Sunscreen Station will be set up beside the Main Stage — feel free to stop by and reapply throughout the day.
