Kilmurry Boys team playing their 3 group games on Monday last in O Garney Park. Joined by St Aidans Shannon, Mountshannon/Lakyle & Flagmount/Dromindoora, the teams played each other in savage hot conditions. The top two teams would qualify for the Semi Finals next week.

Scoring a total of 16 goals & 21 points in their three games, the Kilmurry boys would win all three games and top the group. Most impressive was their hooking, blocking & tackling in the games and only conceding 2 goals & 5 points in total all day shows how difficult these lads are to play against.

The next Mark Sheedy in goals, Michael Gilligan started every attack with his perfect puck outs. The defence held a block wall in all games and at different stages consisted of John Donnellan, Donnacha Heffernan Tom Gleeson & Ewan Morey. Midfield boss men were Lorcan Benoit, Dan Reidy, Fionn O Brien & Kyrylo Zakarov. Up front then the goal hungry fellas of Matthew Minihan, Rhys Tuohy, Mike Gleeson, Frants Ohly and Nazar Rus.

Thanks to Mr Donnellan for all the work with this team so far this year. Kilmurry now look forward to a semi-final next week.
