Dromintee 0-9 St Michael's 1-13

Dromintee lost their second league game in Junior B as Newtown deservedly took both points - although there were still a few regrets.
Having delivered their traditional slow start, Dromintee rattled off 0-4 in a matter of minutes to level with some debate over whether it should have been 0-5 as Stephen Dyas' effort was on the edge of the arc. Aaron McArdle did get a two-pointer soon after.
Newtown led at the break by a few and, in truth, they always looked capable of holding that buffer and tagged on a few late points to pull away.
Some good moments from Dromintee in the second half though, one flowing team move that led to point would almost make you think they had an extra man on the pitch.
Donal McKenna was also very unlucky to see a late lobbed in effort on the square just miss the target.
Great support which was most appreciated. The lads are away to Dorsey next Sunday.
