The biggest social event in our club calendar takes place this Sunday in Beaumont Park when we hold our annual Family Fun Day (FFD).We welcome children of all ages, grandparents, cousins and friends. You are all invited.
We have something for everyone:
- Free Burgers and Hotdogs for all our young players. Huge thanks to Big Als and Kepak Foods who have been sponsoring our FFD for 15 years.
-The Animal Roadshow will be there between 11 AM and 2 PM with snakes, reptiles & owls and other exotic creatures on show. Thank you to Dino’s Family Chip Shops, another perennial sponsor.
-Our Face Painters will be in attendance
-We’ll have a well-stocked tuckshop with plenty of treats
-Coffee and tea and other goodies are available all day
-Our inflatable dartboard is back to test your football skills. Great prizes to be won on the day!
-Most importantly, we will have our young schoolboy and schoolgirl teams showcasing their talents. Your child’s team coach will be messaging you with details of playing times.
Our Dressing Rooms are almost complete. We are still waiting on a power connection. Tarmac is to be laid shortly and some landscaping around the perimeter is imminent. It will be a wonderful milestone for Avondale. The complex will have 4 dressing rooms, a first aid room, toilets and a kitchenette/meeting room.
