✅O'Dwyers men's 2nd football team have been doing very well in the Div10A league this year✅
On Thursday night they played a nail-biting game at Portmarnock. 5 points down at halftime O'Dwyers knew there was going to be alot to do in the 2nd half. Making full use of the panel of players, O'Dwyers were able to bring on some fresh legs in the 2nd half. With 15 minutes to go the sides were level. The remaining 15 minutes were incredibly tense with both teams swapping a 1 point lead 4 or 5 times. The game was in the final seconds and the sides level. O'Dwyers launched one last attack and kicked an excellent point with what turned out to be the last kick of the game.
The result is another 2pts towards the lads hopes of promotion to Div9. The team will push on for the last 3 games, hoping to secure promotion and win the division.
