On Saturday, the Main Field was alive with energy and enthusiasm as the U7 hurling and camogie teams took part in a thrilling blitz. A fantastic turnout saw approximately 150 boys and girls participating in a fun-filled day of sport, teamwork, and skill-building.
Teams from Kilmaley, Doora Barefield, Broadford, Bodyke, and Wolfe Tones joined our young hurlers and camogie players for a series of exciting games. The players showed great skill, with plenty of goals, blocks, and cheers from the parents on the sidelines.
It was a wonderful showcase of underage talent and a testament to the hard work of coaches, parents, and club volunteers. Most importantly, it was a day full of smiles, encouragement and fun!
The U7 boys were then out again on Wednesday evening, taking part in the County Board blitz. The boys had a great evening at the blitz.
Well done to all involved!
