A County Medal like no other. 🔥🔥

A huge congratulations and best wishes to our own Paul ‘Cantona’ Murphy who enters the history books today, becoming the first ever Mayor of Clare from Clarecastle.

A native of Barntick on the Kildysart Road, Paul who is now in his 19th year as a county councillor has shown selfless dedication to the club through the years serving as our Chair, Vice Chair and currently our Health Promotion Officer, while also being a member of our 1995 Minor Hurling Championship Winning Squad.

As first citizen of the county, Paul will represent Clare on the local, national and even international stage, where the Magpie flag will be flying very high 🏁🏁

A huge congratulations too to Siobhán, Cathal and Johnny and the entire Murphy family on this milestone for the village.

Enjoy the celebrations🎉🍾
