The Wicklow Rovers Summer Football Camp wrapped up yesterday, and what an absolute blast it was! We are thrilled to announce that this year's camp was one of our most attended ever, transforming Whitegates into a vibrant hub of laughter, cheers, and pure football joy throughout the summer!
Under the watchful and inspiring eye of Johnny Dunne, our fantastic team of young coaches truly shone. They meticulously set up engaging games and dynamic training sessions, ensuring every budding star had an incredible time developing their skills and love for the game. The entire grounds of Whitegates were buzzing with the infectious energy of kids enjoying their favourite sport during their summer break. Even the small showers on Tuesday couldn't dampen their spirits – a testament to their enthusiasm and the fun atmosphere created!
A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to our brilliant coaches Evan, Sam, Kale, Ryan, David, Richard, Tommy, Charlie, Clara, Mikey and Liam who dedicated their time and passion to make this camp such a resounding success.
Your hard work, dedication, and ability to connect with the children made this camp truly special. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved – the coaches, the volunteers, and most importantly, all the amazing young players who made this summer one to remember!
