Sixmilebridge 2-17 Clooney/Quin 0-13
Our Minor hurlers travelled to Clooney on Monday evening for Round 3 of the Martin Williams Concrete Minor A Hurling Championship to face the home side who were defending their Minor title which they won in 2024 having beaten the Bridge in the semi final.

The first half was a tense affair as both sides traded points to see the Bridge lead 0-08 to 0-06 at the short whistle.

The Bridge upped the ante in the second half and on the 45 minute mark they lead by 2-15 to 0-09 with the first goal coming from a great passage of play and team work with Conor Gleeson calmly finishing it to the net. Donal O'Leary popped up for the second with a ball breaking around the square and he was on hand to put the Bridge boys on the road to victory.

The team have 2 games remaining in the group:

Monday 8th September: SMB V Clonlara in Clonlara @ 18:00
