Last Tuesday the Dillon Quirke Foundation visited Carrick Davins GAA Club for a cardiac screening day. All 40 slots were filled, meaning another 40 young athletes have now been screened and take to the field, track, court, ring or wherever they perform knowing they're strong and healthy.
A huge thank you to the Dillon Quirke Foundation and the medical staff for the incredible work they are doing, and to Gaelscoil Charraig na Siúire for kindly providing classrooms to host the screenings.
