We're back between the lines this week, and the energy is pure MAGIC—compete hard, learn fast, look out for your teammates. Here’s where to be and what each session means.
Quick definitions (no confusion, no surprises)
Team Training → there will be one team in that age group. No trials—just building our style, habits and chemistry.
Team Placement Session → a high-tempo training where coaches place players on teams based on a variety of factors that include commitment, coachability, positional balance and experience, amongst others. We aim to place every child on a team, but we need more volunteers to make that possible.

These groups train together this week to set system standards, terminology and tempo.
Game-day habits start now—arrive 10 minutes early, bring water, and wear your clubbgear if you have some.
---
League format update (Kerry Area Basketball Board)
To keep things competitive and fair this season:
Divisions 1 & 2 stay as full competitive leagues with tables and weekly fixtures.
Division 3 shifts to a player-development model—competitive weekly league games are replaced with tournaments, giving players more reps and meaningful minutes with less pressure.
---
Volunteers make the Magic
Depth wins. If you can help as a coach, assistant, team manager, table official or game-day helper, you directly increase the number of teams we can field—and ensure every child gets a jersey. Training and support provided.
