A BRILLIANT LOCAL INITIATIVE WERE HAPPY TO PROMOTE πππ
A message from the organisers : "We're hosting a FREE 5km run in Rivervalley, Swords to raise awareness of recovery from mental illness, abuse, substance misuse and addiction, and to promote support services in Fingal communities.
Our mission is to connect people, who are directly and indirectly involved in recovery, with support services in our Fingal communities.
The event is free and it is easy to register:
Over 350 people have already registered so we're expecting a large turnout and a memorable day for the community.
Registered participants will receive a T-shirt, Medal and Goodie Bag at the finish.
The event will begin and end in the Rivervalley Recreational Hub, next to the all-weather sports pitch and carpark inside the park grounds.
The Run itself will begin at 9.30, however there will be an important briefing given beforehand beginning at approximately 9.15 am.
The Run will be incorporated into Rivervalley parkrun so there will be an official position number and time available to you after the event"
