Simonstown Gaels GFC – 60th Anniversary Celebration
Dear Members,
This year marks a very special milestone in our history as we celebrate 60 years of Simonstown Gaels GFC. We are delighted to invite you, your families, and friends to join us on Saturday, 6th September for our Annual Club Day & 60th Anniversary Celebrations.
📅 Date: Saturday, 6th September
🕖 From 7:00pm
🎶 8:00pm till late – Live Band
🎤 9:30pm – Informal chat with Colm Keys featuring former male & female captains from 30 years ago
🖼️ Club slideshow of memories playing throughout the evening
🎟️ Charity Raffle – proceeds in aid of our partner charity Jigsaw
As part of the night, we are especially honouring:
✨ Our first ladies team
✨ The ladies team of 1995
✨ The men’s 1995 Intermediate, Junior B, and Minor winning teams
✨ The 2005 Division 1 winning team
This celebration is not only to look back at the achievements of the past, but also to recognise the commitment of everyone who has worn the jersey, volunteered, supported, and been part of our journey.
We warmly welcome all members past and present to come together for what promises to be a night full of music, memories, and pride in our club.
