From the lowest of lows to the highest of highs it’s been a rollercoaster few days for our Minors
Sunday saw our Minor hurlers lose out to Doon in the most heartbreaking fashion. After a huge performance from our lads, Doon scored a last minute goal and that sealed our fate.
Somehow, the lads picked themselves up, dusted themselves down and headed to Bruff to take on Ballylanders yesterday evening in the Minor A Football County Final. And yesterday the result went our way, yesterday we were the side walking away with the silverware and we were the side celebrating when the final whistle blew!
The 30 lads that togged on Sunday afternoon and the 30 lads that togged yesterday evening are a credit to themselves, to their family, and to the club. How they have represented the crest and themselves over both campaigns has been unreal 💚💛
To the lads, thank you for the many moments of joy and excitement ye have brought the club this year and a huge well done on the effort, dedication and hard work ye have given and put in this year! We are beyond proud of ye!
To their respective management teams, huge credit goes to ye for the time, work, effort and dedication ye have put in this year and over the years with the lads to get them to this point! The time and effort that you have put in doesn’t go unnoticed!
To their parents and guardians who bring them to training, bring them to matches, and travel the county supporting them, thank you!
Thanks to Podge and Margaret for welcoming the boys home on both nights, you’re always there, win, lose or draw and we appreciate it so much! 🙌🏻
To everyone who came out both on Sunday and yesterday evening to support the lads, thank you! It was fantastic to see so many people from our club and community supporting the lads and it makes days like yesterday just that little more special 🥳
Hon Ahane the Spuds are Boilin’ 💚💛
