The under 16 hurlers hosted Ballyboden Saint Enda's in Rivervalley on Saturday with St. Finians looking to build on the opening round victory over Lucan Sarsfields.

St. Finians had a number of injury problems on the day  but were fortunate to be able to call on the services of a number of the under 15 panel to step in and perform.

St. Finians trailed by 3 points at half-time and battled bravely throughout the 2nd half in an effort to get a good result from the match.  This was achieved in injury time with a late equalising point with the match finishing a draw on a  2-14 to 4-8 leaving St Finians unbeaten to date in the campaign.
