Simonstown Gaels GFC are delighted to announce that we have achieved our official GAA Healthy Club Status. This is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our Healthy Club team, club coaches, volunteers and most importantly, all of you, our members.
This program helps GAA clubs support the health, wellbeing of our members and the wider community. It focuses on several key areas, physical, mental, and social well-being, diversity and inclusion, healthy eating, substance abuse and gambling and community development.  The Healthy Club project has been the catalyst for so many fantastic initiatives over the past few years in our club.  Dads and Lads, Mothers and Others, Family fun days, Blue Cubs, Easter egg Hunts, Patricks Day parades, Steps challenges, educational talks, charity fundraising and so much more.  We should all be very proud of this achievement.  By achieving this status, we are recognized for promoting health and wellness for everyone in our community.  We would encourage anyone who would like to be involved to join us on our Healthy Club journey, everyone is welcome.
