A wonderful night of celebration is planned for Friday November 7th in the Maree Community Centre to acknowledge the fantastic All Ireland success of the Galway Senior Camogie team and the Galway U16 team in 2025.

When the O'Duffy cup was lifted up by the women from the West of Ireland on Sunday August 10th, three Oranmore Maree alumni stood proud on the steps of the Hogan Stand. Ailish O'Reilly, Rachael Hanniffy and Róisín Black  were instrumental that day in Galway's victory over Cork. Joining our senior county players will be their clubmates Ella Tarpey and Roisin Coleman who togged out for their county with the victorious Galway U16A All Ireland winning team.

To honour these 5 Oranmore Maree club players, Oranmore Maree camogie club are inviting our community to join us in recognition of these achievements from 7.30pm on November 7th. For those that plan to stay to continue the celebrations, there will be music with Nessa in the bar from 9pm.

It is also noteworthy that this November, our three senior county players, Ailish, Rachael and Róisín are also nominated for All Stars with the winners being announced on Saturday November 15th in Croke Park.

So save the date - Friday November 7th - in the Maree Community Centre from 7.30pm to 9pm for all our underage supporters to meet, greet and acknowledge our All Ireland winners while getting picture with player and the two cups. The adults can then dance the night away from 9pm with music in the bar.
