U14 crowned County Champions!

Last Sunday, the 26th, our U14 camogie team headed to Castle Road to take on Ballinascarthy in their first ever county final.

After a lightning-fast start from Ballinascarthy, our girls decided to up the ante - and once they did, there was no stopping them! Even with a comfortable lead in the second half, they kept pushing right to the final whistle, determined to bring that cup home. It was an outstanding performance from start to finish.

What makes this win even more special is just how far these girls have come this season. From the very first training session, they’ve shown incredible commitment, determination, and teamwork. Week after week, they’ve worked hard to improve, listened, learned, and supported each other - and that effort has truly paid off. It’s been a joy to watch their confidence and skill grow with every game.

A huge thank you to the coaches for your belief, time, and dedication throughout the year. Your guidance and encouragement have played a huge part in this success.

Well done girls - you’ve been a fantastic group all season, and we’re so proud to see you get the reward you deserve!

Minor Camogie Return to Championship

Following the summer break, the Minor team have been back on the field with two recent fixtures. They hosted Dungourney in Rostellan on the 22nd of October, and travelled to Grenagh last Saturday, the 25th.

The result didn’t go in the girls’ favour in the home match, but they regrouped quickly and hit the road to Grenagh determined to turn things around - and that they did! With strong performances all over the pitch, great teamwork, and plenty of determination, they came away with a well-deserved win.

Their championship campaign has now come to an end; however, this group can hold their heads high after a season full of hard work, commitment, and team spirit. The progress they’ve made, and the efforts shown on the pitch, are something to be truly proud of.

Well done to all involved - players, coaches, and parents - for the energy, dedication, and passion shown throughout the season.
