Tulla GAA are hoping to organise a Community Cardiac Screening Day to help raise awareness for cardiac health issues. The service will be ran by Advanced Medical Services who will provide a screening day in Tulla. The screening is available to anyone aged 12 years and over.
The purpose of this form is to seek interest in the screening programme.

The individual fee for the Cardiac Screening service is from €80.
*It is FREE for anyone with LAYA Health Insurance. People with other health insurance may be able to claim a % back at the end of the year. Or it is tax deductible. Each screening takes 20 minutes.

AMS' Doctor-led service is based on the recommendations of the European Society of Cardiology. In Italy screening is compulsory for anyone competing in sport. They have reduced SADS by 89% over the past 25 years and this is the model they are following. They also follow the GAA’s Medical Scientific and Advisory Committee Cardiac Screening & GAA. Each individual will receive a report signed off by one of their Consultant Cardiologists.
